FAQ & POLICIES


What to know before your session.


These policies summarize the booking, payment, delivery, and usage terms for Vincent Morrow Photography.

 

BOOKING & PAYMENT

  • A booking retainer is required to reserve a session.
  • Individual portraits: $25 retainer.
  • Couples/families: $50 retainer.
  • First-time branding clients: $50 retainer.
  • Remaining balance is due at least 24 hours before the session.
  • All required agreements must also be signed at least 24 hours before the session.
  • If payment and required documents are not complete by that deadline, the session is not cleared to proceed.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

  • Retainers are fully refundable more than 48 hours before the session.
  • Within 48 hours, retainers become non-refundable.
  • One reschedule may transfer the retainer at photographer discretion.
  • No-shows forfeit the retainer and require a new retainer to rebook.
  • If I must cancel and cannot reasonably reschedule, applicable payments are refunded.

WEATHER

  • Outdoor conditions are reviewed roughly 24 hours before the session.
  • Unsafe or impractical weather results in rescheduling without penalty.

LATE ARRIVAL

  • Late arrival reduces the available session time.
  • The session does not automatically extend beyond the scheduled end time.

EDITING & FILE DELIVERY

  • Final galleries contain selected, professionally edited images.
  • RAW and unedited files are not delivered.
  • Standard editing includes exposure, white balance, color, contrast, crop, straightening, reasonable blemish cleanup, and basic distraction removal.
  • Major retouching or compositing may require an additional quote.

TURNAROUND

  • Portraits: typically within 7 days, contract maximum 14 days.
  • Couples/families: typically 7–10 days, contract maximum 14 days.
  • Headshots/branding: typically 5–7 days, contract maximum 10 business days.

GALLERY AVAILABILITY

  • Completed galleries are guaranteed to remain available for at least 90 days after delivery.
  • Clients should download and back up their files during that period.

PERSONAL-USE RIGHTS

  • Personal clients receive nonexclusive personal-use rights to download, print, and share their images.
  • Reasonable social-media cropping is fine.
  • Copyright remains with Vincent Morrow Photography.
  • Images may not be sold, commercially licensed, or materially altered without permission.

COMMERCIAL USE

  • Branding clients receive a nonexclusive license for their own website, social media, ads, print materials, business listings, and press use.
  • Third-party resale, sublicensing, or broader national-brand usage requires separate permission or licensing.

LOCATIONS & TRAVEL

  • I’m based in New Bern and serve Eastern North Carolina.
  • Local travel is generally included within the normal service area.
  • Longer-distance travel may require an additional fee or custom quote.
  • Client-selected private or restricted locations may require permission from the property owner or venue.

MINORS & RELEASES

  • A parent or legal guardian must complete required releases for minors.
  • Complimentary portfolio sessions require portfolio/model-release permission.
  • Paid-session portfolio use is optional unless separately agreed.

These website policies are a summary. If there is any conflict between this page and a signed session agreement, the signed agreement controls.
